Our Staff

Tina KaminskiTINA KAMINSKI – Miss Tina is the owner and director of the award-winning Center Stage Dance Academy, located in Canfield, Ohio. She has studied the art of dance for over 31 years. She began teaching at the age of 16 and opened her own studio in 1996. Her extensive training includes over 17 years at the Donna Crean School of Dance and the All That Jazz With Monica Dance Studio. Tina has also studied from some of the dance greats, such as, Gregory Hines, Gus Giordano, Henry LeTang, Gregg Russell, Mike Minery, Judy Ann Bassing, Stepp Stewart, Frank Hachett and Bob Rizzo. Tina is a graduate of Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School, and is a certified and licensed dance instructor. She has also been a member of Dance Masters of America, Dance Masters of Ohio, and the Cecchetti Ballet Council for over 16 years. Miss Tina is also a Continuing Education Member through Dance Masters by attending various workshops throughout the year. Tina’s students have won numerous “Over-All High Point Awards”, “Special Judges Awards”, and “Choreography Awards” on the local, state and national levels. Several of her students have gone on to perform with Disney, become professional dancers, and have earned dance scholarships to several Colleges and Universities. She is honored and excited to be part of the Kids Artistic Review Judging Panel. Miss Tina enjoys being with her husband, James, and son, “Little Jimmy”. Look out this fall, Little Jimmy will be joining the tumble tots class. Miss Tina loves teaching and watching young children succeed through dance. The smiles on their faces say it all!! 

AUDRA AGLER – Miss Audra has been an instructor at Center Stage for the past 8 years. She started dancing at the age of 9 and continued for over 13 years with Performing Arts and All That Jazz With Monica Dance Studios. Miss Audra has had over 13 years of Competition experience and has choreographed several routines that have won “Special Judges Awards” and “Over-All” awards on the local, state and national levels. Miss Audra continues her education by attending workshops throughout the year. Miss Audra loves being with her family and will be very busy this next year with her 2 year old triples, Ty, Nolan and Veda. You may see them around the studio in the fall since they will be joining the tumble tots class.

MICHELLE AMMON - Other wise known as “Miss Shelly”, has been involved with dance for over 30 years. She began teaching at the age of 15 and opened her own dance studio in 2003. Shelly has choreographed many high school musicals as well as area high school dance drill teams. She is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD). Miss Shelly graduated with a BSN in nursing from Franciscan University and has been a practicing nurse for 11 years. she is currently employed at East Liverpool City Hospital in the pediatric unit. Miss Shelly loves spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, Lindsay and Lexi. Miss Shelly loves teaching because of the children and would like to share her knowledge and expertise while providing them with a solid base for dancing.

TRACY RINEHART - - Miss Tracy has studied dance for more than 25 years. She began her training early but started competitive dance as a teen. Tracy earned several “Over-All Awards” and “Special Judges Awards” during the time she competed on the local, state, and national levels. Tracy started as a student teacher and was soon certified to teach by Dance Masters Of America while dancing for All That Jazz With Monica. Tracy has more than 12 years teaching experience including guest teaching for area studios as well as running a studio of her own. In 2001 Tracy was licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board for Massage Therapy. Miss Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, Hannah, Christian, and Teddy. Miss Tracy is excited to be able to continue teaching for Center Stage this fall. 

CATIE STARR - Miss Catie is glad to be back teaching dance after working for Continental Airlines as a Flight Attendant for 3 years. Catie started dancing at the age of 5 and began competing at 11 years old. Miss Catie was a member of the Center Stage Dance Academy Competition Team and won numerous “Over-All Awards” and “Special Judges Awards” on the local, state and national levels, not only as a soloist but with her team mates as well. Miss Catie has taught dance for over 6 years and has completed 2 years of Dance Masters Of America Teachers Training School. In November Catie had her first daughter, Isabella and is engaged to be married in April of 2008.

HELENA SOMMERS - has been dancing for 28 years and instructing for 18 of those years. She is a certified member of Dance Masters of America, Dance Masters of Ohio and the Cecchetti Council of America. She is currently certified to teach Cecchetti Levels 1, 2 and 3. Miss Helena has also attended Dance Masters of America’s Teachers Training School. She enjoys keeping up with the latest styles of dance technique by attending various dance seminars and workshops throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware and California, where she has studied under some of the top dance instructors in the industry. Helena was a member of the Blades Dance Team, which performed at the former Cleveland Lumberjacks games, and she also was the choreographer and adviser for the Youngstown Hawks Dance Team. In high school, Helena was a cheerleader for 4 years and her senior year she was chosen as an All Star Cheerleader. In past years, she had the pleasure of being the choreographer for a Crestwood High School's spring musicals and was also their Dance Team Coach. Miss Helena is very excited to become part of the Center Stage Dance Academy teaching staff and is looking forward to passing on her knowledge of dance.

JENNIFER CETRONE - is the new cheer and tumble coach for Center Stage Dance Academy. Miss Jen has co-advised Howland High School Cheerleaders, coached one year of UCA, and was on the University of Akron Dance Team. She has her Associate of Arts Degree in Dance from Akron University. Jen was also a professional dancer for the Florida Flame NBDL League and most recently coached for a Pop Warner Cheerleading Squad in North Fort Myers Florida. Jen is very excited to become part of the Center Stage Staff and is looking forward to doing what she loves.
